However, despite valiant efforts from both Meek and his lady Nicki Minaj, the judge ultimately found Meek guilty of “technical violation” of his probation, according to TMZ reports.

Minaj testified after a defense lawyer said the couple was seriously discussing marriage.

The lawyer of Robert Rihmeek Williams, the rapper professionally known as Meek Mill, recently talked about the seriousness of his client’s relationship with Onika Tanya Miraj, more popularly known as Nicki Minaj.

“I have the potential to be greater than I am today”, Meek told the courtroom.

“He pulled a few strings to get it to her on her birthday and when he knew she’d received it, he jokingly texted her and told her that every time she puts it on her lips she better be thinking about him”, a source claimed. Last week, she testified on his behalf, telling the judge, “He doesn’t have a lot of structure”. “He can be irresponsible”. “Since I’ve come in his life, I think I’ve been working on that a little bit.”

Meek’s probation stems from gun possession and drug charges, dating back to 2008, during which he was sentenced to 11 to 23 months in prison.

Though Mill will not be sentenced to seven weeks, the judge’s interim restrictions ended his ability to earn money in the music business. Court security officers escorted Mill, Minaj – who wore a plum jacket and black skirt – and their entourage to a restricted area containing elevators used by judges and court officials to exit the building. Under the terms of his probation, Mill was required to obtain a travel voucher before leaving his hometown of Philadelphia.

His sentencing hearing is scheduled for February when he will know his fate. He’s not an accountant.

Judge Brinkley also raised questions about a suspicious sample during a drug test, but Mill denied trying to fake the test or taking any drugs. He also dissed the case prosecutor in a rap song, a decision he now calls “immature”. The state, Brinkley explained, was keeping supervised felons out that day amid heightened security for the Miss America pageant.
