The coronation night of Miss Universe 2015 took place on December 20 (December 21 in Manila) at Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas.

Vergara, a Colombian-American actress, 43, has supported Gutierrez online by posting to Instagram a photo of her brief moment with the Miss Universe sash alongside the caption: “La Reina de todos modos”. Pia explained that she was concerned about a second mistake, and she did not want any further embarrassment.
