Louis Rams Can Win Games Without Todd Gurley Being Any Good

The Rams won their second straight game and hung around the periphery of the NFC playoff race by beating the Buccaneers at home Thursday, but the scene was a poignant one at Edward Jones Dome. With an actual passing game, the Rams finally had a dual threat offense, and it showed in the final score.

The St. Louis Rams in a final inspiring effort beat Tampa Bay Buccaneers in what could have been the final game for the franchise. If Tampa Bay lets the rookie out of Georgia run wild, they will have an extremely hard time escaping St. Louis with a win. They had five plays from the Rams’ 13-yard line and closer, aided by an encroachment call on St. Louis defensive end Eugene Sims, and had to settle for a 24-yard field goal by Connor Barth.
