A United Airlines aircraft, flight UA 1977 landing in Chicago O’Hare airport at 7.40 am on Wednesday on a flight from Seattle skidded off a runway.
According to the Federal Aviation Administration, the plane was a United Airlines flight, but details on where the flight originated were not immediately available.
He says the aircraft landed safely but then taxied just beyond the runway’s turnoff point.
The Chicago Fire Department confirmed an aircraft skidded off a runway and onto the grass at O’Hare. The FAA is investigating.
