Tom Coughlin Will Resign After Sunday’s Game

The defense is a different story and with Odell Beckham Jr. set to return for the Giants on Sunday, the key to a Philly victory is shutting down the standout receiver.

Literally an old ball coach, Coughlin, 69, has done his best to shield his team from the drama and uncertainty of his job status, noting that his “young men” shouldn’t be concerned with his plight.

The Giants blew six games this season they led in the final two minutes of the game. “When there were no talks before the season, I was just planning on focusing on this season and playing this season out, not expecting anything, and that’s been the case”.

It was interesting to watch the Eagles on Sunday and try to pinpoint things that wouldn’t have happened if Kelly was still the head coach.

The cornerback market went through the roof last year in free agency, when Byron Maxwell got $10.5 million a year from Philadelphia and Brandon Flowers re-signed with San Diego for $9.1 million a year.

With the exception of Sam Bradford‘s interception, the Eagles offense has been marching up and down the field all day.

Philadelphia’s going to have to get the holes on its run defense patched up.

All week, Coughlin has insisted his focus had been on the season finale against the Philadelphia Eagles (6-9).

Giants: Eli Manning needs 277 passing yards to have the second-most in a single season in Giants history. Meanwhile, the Giants aren’t inspiring much betting-related confidence. There is always going to be value in the first round, but it’s easier to find value when you have the ability to pick five or six spots higher in the draft. Murray capped the first with a season-long yard run.
