Real Housewives of New Jersey star Teresa Giudice is heading home for Christmas: The reality TV personality was released from the Federal Correctional Institute in Danbury, Connecticut, early Wednesday morning, ABC News reported.
This news came from Giudice lawyer, Attorney James Leonard Jr., who mentioned in an interview that Teresa will be released from the Danbury Federal Correctional Institution in CT, and that he will be getting her himself and driving her home. He will be beginning a 41-month prison sentence of his own stemming from bankruptcy fraud in March, but they will have some time together on the outside before then.
Teresa Giudice, the Real Housewives of New Jersey star who was convicted on fraud charges a year ago, has been released from prison. Courthouse before a court appearance, in Newark, N.J.
As for Giudice’s plans beyond the festive season, People announced last month that Teresa is ready to spill the beans on her year behind bars in 2016. “The balance of her home confinement will be monitored by the Federal Location Monitoring program”. When she got home, she was met with a black Lexus SUV with a giant bow on top waiting in her driveway.
Teresa Giudice is out of prison just in time for Christmas and it appears it’ll be a very merry Giudice holiday.
Bravo had no immediate comment on how Teresa’s arrival back at the mansion would affect filming for Real Housewives, or what role she would play. Following her released date and in a few months, Joe will begin his prison sentence. They confessed to concealing assets from bank collectors and to submitting fraudulent loan applications which put $5 million into their pockets for construction and their mortgage. She entered a minimum-security prison on January 5.
Giudice will be placed on house arrest until February 5. The couple’s sentences were staggered so one parent could remain with their four young daughters.
