A lawyer for Teresa Giudice said she will travel home to Montville, New Jersey, upon her release Wednesday from the Danbury Federal Correctional Institution in CT. The reality television star has reportedly been granted her request of being confined to her home until February of next year and is to be released this week.

The Real Housewives star had her first taste of freedom in almost 11 months as she was driven from prison by her lawyer on Wednesday morning.

Joe Giudice is scheduled to begin his 41-month prison sentence in March, according to multiple reports. Joe is also facing possible deportation after his sentence is served.

We have a feeling the New Jersey item has cashed in quite a bit on Teresa’s release. She entered a minimum-security prison on January 5. Some have already opened up about their excitement that she’s returned home safe and sound.

On arriving home in New Jersey, where she was reunited with daughters Gia, Gabriella, Milania and Audriana, husband Joe Giudice presented her with a brand new Lexus – it even had a red bow on it.

“‘Merry Christmas. Happy New Year….all of you should go be with your families and your loved ones, ‘” he relayed on her behalf. The judge in their case staggered their sentences for the sake of their four daughters, aged 5 to fourteen. As a result, he may be deported back to his home country when he is released.

Other methods Giudice used to pass the prison term were to get a job in the prison kitchen, plus she was allowed to use Twitter to tweet to her fans and thank them for cards, letters, and well wishes of support.

Although the Fabellini wine maker used to have over-the-top celebrations loaded with gifts for her family during the holidays, this year she plans on having a more low key Christmas.
