Lenovo launches ThinkPad Stack modular accessories (Projector, Charging Station)

Inside, the X1 tablet packs an Intel Core M7 vPro processor, up to 16GB of LPDDR3 memory, one USB3 port, a USB Type-C port, and up to 1TB of SSD storage that is expandable with the use of a microSD slot. The ThinkPad X1 Tablet starts at $899 and will be available in February.

Don’t worry if you prefer old-school laptops… you’re more than covered.

The Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Tablet comes with a Surface Pro like hinge and can be converted into a full-fledged laptop by connecting full size ThinkPad keyboard with Red TrackPoint. All three X1 products are available with 1TB SSD storage, Qulacomm Snapdragon X7 4G LTE modems, optional WiGig docking, and TPM security.

The X1 Yoga starts at $1,499 (Rs 1,00,000 approximately), and will be available this month, while the X1 Carbon starts at $1,299 (Rs 86,000 approximately), and will be available next month. Too rich for your blood? The business-minded PC maker has refreshed much of its lineup for 2016 but perhaps the most intriguing products are a trio of models from the ThinkPad X1 series.

Both the X1 Carbon and X1 Yoga can be configured to have up to Core i7 processors, 16GB of RAM, 1TB of SSD storage space, and 14-inch 1080p or 2560 x 1440 displays. The Surface Pro rules the roost for the time being, but Lenovo’s combination of competitive pricing, a reputation for rock-solid keyboards, and those added extras could make things interesting. ThinkPad X1-branded accessories including a wireless touch mouse, in-ear headphones, and a WiGig docking station will also be available at the end of this month.

Thinner and lighter than the previous model, the X1 Carbon weighs only 2.26 pounds and measures 0.65-inches thick. Enter the ThinkCenter X1 AIO, the company’s touted “desktop of tomorrow“.

The new ThinkVision X1 is a high-resolution monitor for those with demanding needs – photographers, graphic designers, and more. The OLED model will become available in April, and the device’s price has not yet been determined. The ThinkPad 13 is Mil-Spec tested, so it will withstand the rigors of a day-to-day use. The Presenter module ($279) adds a pico projector that can project a 60-inch image from just 2 meters. While ThinkPads are devices which are commonly associated with being Windows-based, Lenovo has also confirmed that as well as the standard Windows option, they will be releasing a Chrome OS variant as well.

As for the Yoga 900 Business Edition and MIIX 700 Business Edition, Lenovo says they carry the same design as their consumer-versions but include security features with a TPM (Trusted Platform Module) chip and extended warranty options. That 14-inch display arrives in your choice of 2,560 x 1,440 or 1,920 x 1,080 configurations. It comes with a 12-inch tablet display with 400nits brightness and Gorilla Glass and an Intel RealSense R200 3D camera.
