IZombie to stage Veronica Mars reunion with Kristen Bell

Kristen Bell will join the second half of “iZombie” season 2. EW broke the news, noting the episode will air on January 26, though it hasn’t been announced exactly how her voice will be involved.

The crowdfunding effort ended up raising $5.7 million in fan donations in 30 days and became the most-supported project in the fundraising website’s history.

This is not the first time Bell has taken on a voiceover-only role.

Bell previously provided narration on Gossip Girl and also was the voice of Princess Anna in the 2013 Disney blockbuster Frozen. These include Percy Daggs III, Ryan Hansen, Daran Norris, Adam Rose, and David Starzyk. But where is Veronica Mars herself, Kristen Bell?

The episode also reunites Bell with “Veronica Mars” creator Rob Thomas, who also developed “iZombie“.

Meanwhile, the official episode synopsis for the upcoming midseason premiere of “iZombie” season 2 titled “Method Head” has been released.

Everyone’s excited about the return of “iZombie” next year because not only will the fans of the show get to see their favorite zombie/medical examiner/investigator again, but they will also see another popular actress on the show-Kristen Bell.
