Samsung may have three Galaxy S7 models lined up

The Galaxy S6, its 2015 flagship, won some well-deserved praise for its design, but power users were unhappy with its battery life and storage options. Samsung is expected to get official with the new smartphones at MWC 2016 next month. Both phones will also be water and dust resistant.

While rumors have been back and forth regarding what to expect, this week popular leakster Evan Blass, also known as @Evleaks, learned some exciting new details from sources that were “briefed by the company”.

The information came from the figures presented by price comparison and switching service uSwitch.

Moving on, another leak purportedly gives us a look at the Samsung Galaxy S7’s specs.

Samsung’s current flagship – the Galaxy S6 Edge+ – has a 5.7-inch screen, while the S6 and S6 Edge have 5.1-inch displays.

Forbes also reported that Galaxy S7 will potentially be stronger than Galaxy S6 as it is expected to be made with made with a new kind of magnesium alloy. We’ve heard a lot about the Samsung Galaxy S7 and it seems clear now that we’ll be seeing two base models: the regular Samsung Galaxy S7 and the Galaxy S7 Edge, but there is so much more to the story.

Galaxy S7 units that will be powered by the Exynos chips are now expected to ship to other regions. The battery will still not be removable.

Samsung Galaxy S7 will allegedly pack a 5.2-inch display as opposed to the 5.1-inch screen featured on its predecessor. This could also help free up space to add in a bigger battery.
