Hardest thing in ‘Fitoor’ was to pretend Tabu is my mother: Katrina

Katrina, who coloured her hair red for the movie, looks stunning as Firdaus.

Directed by Anurag Basu, the film is a comedy-drama where the real life couple would be seen playing teenage detectives.

Inspired by Charles Dickens’ classic Great Expectations, the movie tells the tale of two lovers: Kaif’s Firdaaus Jaan Naqvi, an heiress and Kapur’s Noor, an orphan boy and struggling painter.

So I am kind of used to portraying these characters on screen.

Tabu, as the matriarch, is formidable and terrifying in some frames. It promises to tell a tale of love that is not easy to achieve. In fact, the source further added, “They both are looking good in the film and share a sizzling chemistry, as seen in the aamsutra ads”.

Smoldering hot, yet gloomy and downcast which is nearly synonymous with him now; if you remember his performance in “Aashique2” and “Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani’s” drunken fits.

Katrina Kaif planning to settle down? Katrina demurred. “I disagree”. However, after shooting for the film, including an outdoor stint in Kashmir, the actress chose to leave the project in May past year. She has now been in the industry for a decade but that British accent is showing no signs of going away. “But when reports like this come out, it is not fair to her”, said Abhishek. And the year 2015 did not shine as much as before in her career.

“Fitoor” is about an orphan boy and a rich girl, whose mother is against the very idea love due to her past. Many speculated that there were some differences between the director and her, but it turns out there was another reason behind it.
