Britain’s Prince George starts nursery school

January 06 23:42 2016

Even royalty has a first day at school!

Prince George now attends the Westacre Montessori School Nursery in Norfolk, which is 110 miles north of London.

Prince George was photographed in front of a mural outside the building wearing a blue jacket with a backpack.

And there’s this one, which I’m assuming is a photo of Prince George giving orders to his subjects.

A few Royal watchers noted the differences between the snapshots of Prince George to photos taken of Prince William marking the same occasion.

The images, which follow the release of the family’s Christmas portrait late a year ago, were shared on Kensington Palace’s Twitter account this afternoon.

When Elizabeth reportedly announced the exciting news over the holidays, Will and Kate, also 33, “both started crying”.

Kate Middleton’s determination to give Prince George as normal an upbringing as possible received its most dramatic demonstration so far today as the young Prince attended his first day at kindergarten.

George’s nursery is in a converted chapel on a private road in East Walton, near King’s Lynn, and there was likely to have been only other parents and their children nearby.

George’s low-key arrival was in contrast to dad William’s first day at Mrs Mynors Nursery in Notting Hill, West London in September 1985. It teaches pupils from ages 2 to 5 and was rated “good” in an Ofsted report last June.

The little prince will be rubbing shoulders with non-royals at Westacre Montessori School nursery in Norfolk.
