Sen. Rand Paul, a Kentucky Republican and presidential candidate who is also traveling in New Hampshire, responded to Rubio by pivoting back to immigration.
The Iowa caucuses are less than a month away.

Since 1900, the taller guy has won the presidency 16 times, while the shorter candidate has won just eight times, including the year 2000 when George W. Bush won the electoral vote, but not the popular vote, to the taller Al Gore. Though he mentioned none of them by name, Rubio remarked at one point that “ISIS can not be filibustered”, a shot at both Paul and Texas Sen.
But about 40 seconds after he took the stage, the Republican presidential hopeful was interrupted by a heckler.
“I don’t think he’s naive, I just think he’s inexperienced”, Christie said.
Cruz’s surge in recent weeks is somewhat surprising.
But beneath the battle for first place, two other sharp-elbowed candidates are fighting hard here: Jeb Bush and Marco Rubio.
Cruz lashed out at Rubio in a statement. So far, New Hampshire voters are still overwhelmingly on board with Donald Trump. Frank said he believes Rubio would be the most competitive candidate in a general election among the Republicans still in the race. He added, “It’s not enough to express anger”.
Talk about Rubio’s boots began after a reporter for The New York Times posted a photo of them on Twitter Monday.
But Rubio’s message was well-received by the New Hampshire Republicans at his events, many of whom said they’re deeply concerned about terrorism.
Our Trendency Research data, shows a similar picture for Trump as the public polling. “This isn’t a good year for the Republican establishment”, said American University presidential historian Allan Lichtman.
No word on whether Imelda Marcos, widow of former Philippine President Ferdinand Marcos and known internationally for her expensive shoe collection, approves of Rubio’s boot of choice. “In my adult lifetime there has never been anyone better prepared for the job that awaits the next president than Hillary”.
On the Democratic side, the choice of many unaffiliated voters is clear: Sanders has a 33-point lead over Clinton among this group. But Clinton has also focused on Donald Trump of late, and his efforts to invoke the Clinton impeachment scandal of the late 1990s.
Of likely American voters who support Rubio, 26% of them said their support was already set in stone, while 49% said there was a “large chance” they’d wind up voting him, according to the poll.
