Bernie Sanders is a ‘total whack job’

Though Clinton’s loss marks the first time she has fallen below a twenty-point lead, the Monmouth report showed that Clinton continues to perform well among minority voters in the states that will follow the New Hampshire and Iowa primaries. Among New Hampshire Democrats and Democratic-leaning independents, Bernie garnered 60 percent of the vote, leaving 33 percent to Hillary. Sanders’ support has nearly doubled since June in the CNN/WMUR poll, while Clinton has lost ten points over the past six months.

Mrs Clinton remains confident of winning the Iowa caucus, which takes place ahead of the New Hampshire primary.

Sanders also has astonishingly high favorability ratings among those likely to vote in New Hampshire’s Democratic primary, and is broadly seen as the candidate with the “personal characteristics and qualities that you think a president should have”. Both Sanders and Donald Trump have shown a considerable advantage over Clinton when it comes to white voters, blue-collar and college-educated alike. And topics much more in Clinton’s wheelhouse, like foreign policy and health care, weren’t addressed as much. Al Franken and women’s tennis legend Billy Jean King – along with daughter Chelsea and former President Bill Clinton, who made several stops along the Vermont border where Sanders is most popular.

It’s just one poll, but it’s consistent with what we know about the intra-party bases of the two Democrats.

Even her daughter, Chelsea Clinton, has stepped into the fray, charging that Sanders wants to “dismantle” Obamacare and Medicare. The latest poll was conducted largely before Sunday night’s Democratic presidential primary debate in Charleston, South Carolina – a debate wherein Clinton went after Sanders aggressively. Twice as many said jobs and the economy were more important.

Things have gone “from bad to nightmare” for Hillary Clinton thanks to a new CNN/WMUR poll out of New Hampshire, per the Washington Post. Sanders also renewed his call for breaking up big Wall Street banks, one of the central tenets of his campaign, and his criticism of Clinton for accepting massive speaking fees from Goldman Sachs. Bernie Sanders, I-Vt., speaks at Boutwell Auditorium, in Birmingham, Alabama, Jan. 18, 2016. American voters aren’t just sick and exhausted of hearing about Hillary Clinton’s damn emails, they are exhausted of politics as usual.
