Warriors’ Green leaves game after blow to head

January 22 20:00 2016

TNT analyst Charles Barkley, who in the past had said Green was undersized, was among those who threw support behind Green to start the game.

Barkley had no qualms with Leonard’s earning a spot but said Green should have earned the nod over the Thunder’s Durant.

“FINALLY CAME OFF MY WARRIORS ROAD TRIP… had so much fun!!!”

Curry was voted in as a starter for the third consecutive year.

“You have to be a total moron to not know that Draymond Green should be starting in the All-Star Game”, he said. “I lived there for three years, my wife is from there, she has a lot of family that still is up there that’s going to be able to celebrate with us”.

Green averages 14.8 points and leads the team with 9.5 rebounds and 7.4 assists per game. Stephen Curry finished second in voting with over 1.6 million votes.

The Golden State Warriors may have the best record in basketball, but they’ll only have one starter in next month’s NBA All-Star Game in Toronto.

The reserves will be voted by the head coaches in each conference and be announced next Thursday.

Kyle Lowry, Toronto Raptors (2nd All-Star selection) – Lowry is part of a two-headed monster in the backcourt for the Raptors, who are on a roll and now sit at No. 2 in the Eastern Conference. Cavaliers forward LeBron James, New York Knicks forward Carmelo Anthony and Indiana Pacers forward Paul George round out the starting five.
