That’s the amount of time fans must wait for the return of ‘Game of Thrones‘ (April 24), and HBO is whetting our appetites ever so gingerly with tidbits from Season 6.
If you thought Season 5 of Game of Thrones was bleak, stay away from the show’s official Twitter account handing out sneak peeks of Season 6. “Anyone who does so gets a tweeted response with a short teaser based on each house”. “You are nobody, the millionth of your name”.
“Game of Thrones” season six is shaping up to be a complete game changer.
And things don’t appear to be looking up for the Stark family either, as a dark teaser was released for them as well. Jon Snow’s (Kit Harrington) fate is still unknown, the Bolton’s have taken Winterfell, and the Lannister’s days ruling Westeros may be over.
The Stark clip features Ramsay ominously uttering, “Winterfell is mine”.
And finally, we catch up to Daenerys Targaryen, the mother of dragons, who was last seen surrounded by a Dothraki horde that is most definitely not loyal to her. In fact, one of the Dothraki calls her the “queen of nothing” in the last teaser. Come and see, ‘ alongside the image of the tattered House Stark flag. Will Cersei be able to come back from being shaved and shamed in the streets?
Their main enemy (at present), the High Sparrow (Jonathan Pryce) can be heard in the teaser tweeted at House Lannister supporters.
