NBA All-Star Game 2016: Eastern Conference roster

Marking the first time the Eastern and Western Conferences will collide outside of the U.S., Bryant and Curry lead the West’s starting lineup, which also includes Oklahoma City Thunder forward Kevin Durant and guard Russell Westbrook, and San Antonio Spurs forward Kawhi Leonard. This year will be Durant’s seventh appearance and fifth start and Westbrook’s fifth appearance and first start. Durant added to that, tweeting, “Thanks to all the fans for help making a dream come true”.

Karl-Anthony Towns may play for a bad (and extremely young) Minnesota team, but he’s quickly become one of the brightest young stars in the game today. “I’m just gonna go try to have fun, enjoy the week and enjoy the break, and get back to the regular season”.

James has scored at least 20 points in nine of his 11 appearances in the NBA All-Star Game.

James has averaged 25.3 points, 6.5 rebounds, 6.2 assists, and 1.5 steals during All-Star play.

In addition to his scoring prowess, James has averaged 6.18 assists, 6.45 rebounds and 1.54 steals in the NBA All-Star Game. So far this season, Westbrook has posted the second most double-doubles and triple-doubles in the National Basketball Association with 28 and five, respectively. The Lakers legend finished with more than 1.8 million fan votes, followed 2014-2015 MVP Curry (1.6 million), and James (1.1 million), who won MVP awards for the 2011-2012 and 2012-2013 seasons.
