Kris Meeke made the flawless start to his long-term Citroen World Rally Championship career with fastest time on Wednesday’s Monte Carlo Rally shakedown stage.

Volkswagen driver Sebastien Ogier grabbed back the lead after an enthralling battle with Britain Kris Meeke in which the lead changed hands three times.
