Browns fined Manziel for missed treatment

January 22 20:02 2016

Cleveland Browns executive VP of football operations Sashi Brown said Johnny Manziel was fined by the team for missing treatment on the day of the regular season finale.

“Johnny is a man and he’s going to have to obviously own a lot of this in terms of his future career, ” said Brown. “As we move forward, our expectation is that he comes back ready to go and is focused on being a great teammate”.

“I know a lot’s been written about him”, Brown said during a press conference. “He understands what’s ahead of him and what he needs to do to have a career in this league and with the Browns”.

Since the Browns selected him in the 2007 NFL Draft, Thomas has started each of the team’s 144 games over the last nine seasons and has the NFL’s longest active streak for the most consecutive snaps played, 8,959.

“How much can we do?” “It really honestly isn’t fair for me to comment those guys”.

Brown said new coach Hue Jackson will have a major role in deciding what the Browns will do with Manziel.

DePodesta will get his first chance to be right this spring, with the Browns owning the No. 2 pick in the draft.

“And so immediately after the season we got into a mode where we focused on the head coach, and we will sit down and have discussions with Johnny at the appropriate time”. “Who knows who is going to be back next year?”

Numerous Johnny Manziel rumors have peppered National Football League news since the playoffs began. Jackson figures to desire a move on from Manziel. A report from ESPN.com on Thursday, January 21, states that the team is going to take its time making a decision on the troubled quarterback.

A waitress at Planet Hollywood told the newspaper that she served Manziel and guests at its bar while a patron witnessed him gambling. Los Angeles will need a star to drum up interest in the team as it returns to a city it ditched more than two decades ago, and Manziel’s always been a huge draw for fans.
