Trump says he could shoot people and still wouldn’t lose voters

The boost from Mr. Beck followed a major endorsement coup by Mr. Cruz’s chief rival, billionaire businessman Donald Trump, who earlier in the week teamed up with conservative firebrand Sarah Palin. “And for someone who says he wants to be president to say that, it shows he’s just not presidential … It’s been fun. Just before Beck officially made his endorsement, he brought Cruz onstage and handed him his George Washington compass, a symbol of radio host’s pursuit of truth. “It’s probably not a good idea for him to do that, and I would not recommend that he do it but you know … that’s Donald”.

National polls this week from Monmouth University and NBC/Survey Monkey also showed Trump with a solid lead, with Cruz and Rubio trailing in second and third places, respectively.

“It’s crunch time, folks”, Trump said. “That’s not true. It’s not even possible”.

Trump added that he will defeat Cruz without the need of suing him, which is why he probably will not bring a lawsuit against him.

“The man owes America an apology, and he should ask conservatives in America for forgiveness”, Beck said.

But Mr Cruz shrugged off Trump’s shooting comment, saying: “I will let Donald speak for himself”.

“I’m excited to be invited to be here”, the state’s senior senator said.
