Bethesda has announced that it will be holding a showcase at this year’s E3 in Los Angeles.
Bethesda frontman Pete Hines told The Telegraph previous year that “I don’t know if we’ll do one again”, in regards to this showcase. That’s around 4am United Kingdom time for those wanting to jump in via live stream – which we assume Bethesda will sign up for.
This will be the second year in a row Bethesda hosts a press briefing after taking the stage for the first time at E3 in 2015, a conference famous for the world premiere of Fallout 4. It is highly likely that we will get to hear the first details about Fallout 4’s downloadable-content.
Bethesda’s also promised official Fallout 4 mods for PC, PS4 and Xbox One and regular updates that bring new features and bug fixes for Fallout 4 problems. So it’s not unreasonable to expect some sort of surprise announcement this year.
So naturally, it looks like they want to repeat the feat this year too.
However, the company has just announced it will indeed be at the show with another conference. The publisher debuted gameplay for the Doom reboot, announced Dishonored 2 and Elder Scrolls Legends, and then burned the house down by announcing a fall launch of Fallout 4. What are you most looking forward to?
In the meantime, what are you hoping to see from Bethesda at E3 this year?
The Elder Scrolls 6 is coming for sure, and game developer Bethesda may release the game promptly once the studio is fully prepared to unveil the game. “This year felt like the right time to do this kind of thing”, he said.
