The last sixteen clubs remaining in this year’s FA Cup competition and somehow Chelsea and Man City were the first two pulled from the random draw.

FA Cup fifth-round draw: Chelsea v Manchester City, Reading v West Bromwich Albion or Peterborough United, Watford v Leeds United, Shrewsbury Town v Manchester United, Blackburn Rovers v Liverpool or West Ham United, Tottenham Hotspur v Crystal Palace, Arsenal v Hull City, Bournemouth v Everton. (Ties to be played February 19-22). They will face West Ham or Liverpool, who drew 0-0 on Saturday. Chelsea manager Guus Hiddink has tagged the tie as a “huge game”, as reported by BBC. Eden Hazard, who had not scored for 30 matches, made it 4-1 from the penalty spot after 55 minutes before substitute Bertrand Traore, who had been on the pitch five minutes, scored his first goal for Chelsea to make it 5-1 in the 62nd.

The former heaped further misery on Aston Villa as they swept aside the Midlands outfit, 4-0, with youngster Kelechi Iheanacho continuing his impressive season with the first hat-trick of his career.

The most intriguing tie for the footballing romantics is undoubtedly Shrewsbury Town taking on Louis Van Gaal’s Manchester United.

With the FA Cup fourth round ties this weekend, clubs have been allocated ball numbers for the next stage of the competition.

The Gunners, on the other hand, narrowly beat Hull’s Championship promotion rivals Burnley 2-1 thanks to goals from Calum Chambers and Alexis Sanchez, either side of an equaliser from Welsh global Sam Vokes.

Last season’s Premier League winners had a wretched start to the season but after sacking boss Jose Mourinho, have seen an upturn in results and they now sit 13th in the table.

After passing the test of facing Championship side Derby County with a 3-1 win at Pride Park, the Red Devils will be confident of overcoming the League One side.

The main attraction of the fifth round will be the clash of the two recent Premier League Champions, Chelsea and Man City.
