Growing up in Denver, Pietrowski started out as a Green Bay Packers fan since the Broncos were not in existence.

So before the Super Bowl two years ago, he bought this smart auto in black and silver which he explained, “as you know black and silver, is something like a Raiders vehicle”.

When Manning first got to Denver in 2012, he quit warming up on the field before games because he’d have to constantly stop to shake the hands of too many former teammates who were now coaching or broadcasting the game. On the other side, the Broncos have the best, fastest defense in football, maybe a generational defense.

Manning said last week he thinks the Giants are “close” to returning to championship – caliber form. Anderson was 10-5 as a starter for Cleveland in 2007 and went to the Pro Bowl that year, but he lasted only two more seasons with the Browns.

“Certainly when you have injuries, when you have surgeries, the doctor sometimes will mention to you, whether you ask him or not, “Hey you are probably heading for a hip replacement at a certain time in your life, ‘” Manning said today”.

The quarterback, who missed the 2011 season after a series of spinal fusion surgeries, said he doesn’t know if he faces more surgeries on his neck.

“I have some things signed by the players, but I have quite a few things signed by the cheerleaders”, Pietrowski grinned.

“The hip part was true”, Manning said. “I hope we can come to an agreement but only time will tell”. “There’s a laundry list and I’m going to dive into those in the offseason and see what went well and what didn’t go well and learn from those”. I felt like I gave everything, but it wasn’t enough. “They will come…. I’m a patient guy and I’m ready whenever the opportunity presents itself”.
