More than 100,000 residents of the majority black and largely impoverished city have been forced to rely on bottled water since disclosure a year ago of a state government management scandal that resulted in the leaching of deadly lead into Flint’s water system.
Clinton repeated her accusation that Sanders and his campaign are engaged in an “artistic smear” by using innuendo against her.
To that end, the Clinton campaign has flooded New Hampshire with women surrogates hoping to wrap her race in the larger struggle for women’s equality.
Both Democratic campaigns have tried to manage expectations for the primary.

Anything that suggests she didn’t do that – or didn’t only do that – presents a major issue for her.

She now faces a likely loss in Tuesday’s first-in-the-nation primary in New Hampshire, creating a sense of urgency for the famously private politician to create a more intimate bond with voters. Will voters see him as the robotic, “Republican Obama” that his enemies say he is?
Bernie Sanders has set his sights on New Hampshire after his self-claimed “virtual tie” with Hillary Clinton in the Iowa caucuses, emphasizing that the northeastern state could take the first step towards ushering in a new era of “political revolution” in the country.
Clinton said Sunday that Weaver, who received a standing ovation for her work on the water crisis, was a “servant leader”.
Clinton has pointed to the crisis of lead-poisoned water in Flint as an example of racial and economic injustice.
