Obama salutes NBA champs at White House

When the Warriors visited President Barack Obama at the White House on Thursday to honor Golden State’s championship last season, head coach Steve Kerr thanked Obama for his work on a hot-button issue in the upcoming election.

He also poked fun at Warriors sharpshooting guard Steph Curry “clowning” on the court.

Golden State could have its eye on a major free-agent pickup in the offseason, as revealed by coach Steve Kerr Thursday at the White House.

The Warriors, based in Oakland, California, beat the Cleveland Cavaliers in last year’s National Basketball Association finals to win their first championship for 40 years. “We want you as soon as your duties are done here in the White House, we’d like you to be the leader of Dub Nation”. “Either way he’s got the record”, Obama said.

There are a lot of things you poke at here to downplay John Wall’s performance against the Warriors: Curry outplayed him, the Warriors didn’t put together their best effort defensively, and he didn’t make enough of an impact defensively to get the Warriors out of their rhythm.
