WWE reduces Titus O’Neil’s suspension to 60 days

February 10 21:13 2016

Vince McMahon is said to be upset that some on the roster are not towing the line when it comes to the professionalism he wants all WWE employees to display.

According to PWInsider, O’Neil was sent home shortly after arriving for a Smackdown taping in Portland, Oregon. After Daniel Bryan’s retirement speech on RAW, a WWE Network special featured Vince, along with Triple H, Stephanie McMahon, and several Superstars and Divas, all standing on the stage to join the crowd in a “yes” chant as a sendoff for Daniel Bryan.

But McMahon surely was not impressed by Titus’ gesture and shoved him away.

If the suspension does hold up for 90 days, O’Neil will miss WrestleMania 32 on April 3.

Once Bryan had passed his fellow Superstars at the top of the ramp they began to return to the back. McMahon and O’Neil’s altercation was seen in the final moments of Monday’s Raw and WWE has since removed the video of Bryan’s farewell – which included the altercation – from its YouTube channel, WWE.com and from the WWE Network. By all appearances, O’Neil is a standup guy and has done a lot of great things for the company, even gaining great publicity by winning “Celebrity Dad of the Year” at the MEGA Dad Awards in May.
