Rubio turns up the heat on Republican rivals

Millions of people are standing with Sanders. However, the senator is still struggling to make inroads with black and Hispanic voters.

The contest among the three mainstream candidates appears to be a race against Mr Trump and a primary-within-a-primary among Mr Bush, Mr Rubio and Ohio Governor John Kasich to win the right to ultimately challenge Mr Trump and Mr Cruz.

“I can change the game because I really have a chance of NY, I’m going to win Virginia”. After largely avoiding a sustained advertisement assault in New Hampshire, Mr Trump is likely to face more attacks here, a state where campaigns can turn rough. But Christie still finished a distant sixth on Tuesday.

That’s what Marco Rubio learned in Tuesday’s New Hampshire primary.

In New Hampshire, Mr Bush appears to have won a political reprieve only by exceeding low expectations with his fourth-place finish.

Sanders and Trump were both considered long-shot outsiders and their victories are a reflection of the anger of the average Americans against career politicians.

In the more crowded Republican field, SC is next. What about compared to New Hampshire’s primary in 2008.

Trump’s post came after the Bush campaign announced that former President George W. Bush would be on the trail with his younger brother on Monday in the Palmetto State.

Sanders also has overtaken Clinton in the favorability category, with 78 percent of Democrats having a positive view of him, compared to 75 percent for Clinton. He had breakfast with civil rights leader the Rev. Al Sharpton on Wednesday.

“I will never ask you to be angry at another group of Americans in order to win an election”, he added in a clear reference to Trump.

The fundraising bump came after he trounced Clinton 60 percent to 38 percent in New Hampshire, the second contest to determine the party standard bearer for the 2016 White House race. Cell phones are far more expensive to call than land lines.

But both men are antithetical to the GOP establishment in policy disagreements and personal style.

Kasich banked much of his bid on New Hampshire, and secured second place here by a healthy margin. Kasich, a more moderate Republican, poured almost all of his campaign resources into the state.

On the Democratic side, two states have now voiced skepticism about Clinton’s candidacy.

“They’re throwing everything at me except the kitchen sink, and I have the feeling that kitchen sink is coming pretty soon”, he said in a buoyant victory speech. Lindsey Graham. Following relatively weak performances in Iowa and New Hampshire, Bush is looking to rebound in SC, but the poll suggests his momentum has been blunted, showing his support falling to 10.9 percent.
