The first-day occupancy of both the movies was low.
The supporting star cast in the movie includes Tabu, Aditi Rao Hydari, Rahul Bhat, Akshay Oberoi, Lara Dutta and Kunaal Khyaan. the film is produced by Abhishek Kapoor and Siddharth Roy Kapur under the banner of UTV Motion Pictures and distributed by PVR Cinemas. Audience showing bit interest but that cannot be consider as impressive.
On the other hand, Sanam Re is a love triangle between Yami Gautam-Pulkit Samrat-Urvashi Rautela. Sanam Re collected Rs 5.04 crore at the box office on its opening day, confirming that there is a market for cliched romantic tales still. Of late, several Hollywood films are earning more than 100 crores, on par with the Bollywood star heroes’ films. The second day / 2nd day collections of Fitoor were around Rs 3.60 crores. The film fared only slightly better than Fitoor in the early shows, with occupancies in the range of 15 to 20 per cent. While the opportunity for growth may be bleak, the film can look to notch a figure of Rs 6 crore by the end of the day.
Based on Charles Dickens’ novel Great Expectations, the film holds you back till the last scene of the film. In fact, Deadpool is giving a tough competition to the Indian films that released today, Fitoor, Sanam Re and a handful of regional films.
