Apple still hasn’t officially announced the March 15 event, where it’s also said to be revealing new Apple Watch models, but it will probably confirm the date after Mobile World Conference finishes next week.
iDigitalTimes reported that Apple will not be accepting pre-orders of iPhone 5se and iPad Air 3 and will release these handsets instead, three days after the company’s event on March 15. They can continue to avail the 4 inch display with iPhone 5se while moving to Apple’s A9 chip with is loaded with M9 motion coprocessor, Siri activation, and NFC support for Apple.
There’s no way for victims of the bug to restore their devices, apparently, other than to visit the genius bar at the Apple Store.
All this being said, it stands to reason that even more information about Apple’s upcoming media event will trickle out in the weeks ahead.
Apple cancelled orders for the iPhone 5s after it found its warehouses were full of them. Both of the new devices will be featuring new special specifications that are not available in Apple’s iPhone 6s. The Guardian suggests that you do not try it. Jailbroken iPhone users can protect themselves by using several tweaks that prevent the date being set to 1970.
Though still unconfirmed, it is believed that the latest 9.7-inch iOS tablet will come with its own version of the A9 processor and a better rear-facing camera that may come with a flash.
From what we’ve heard, this bug has caused quite a bit of hassle for Apple Store employees.
Rumors have been making rounds that Apple is expecting to have more customers to buy iPad Air 3 compared to the sales made with iPad Air 2. It claims that this business strategy is new for Apple, as it has always practiced having at least one or two months in between a launch date and actual release in the market. It is likely that the sport bands of the watches would be introduced in multiple colour options and possibly made from new materials.
