Cam Newton proud to be a sore loser

“I’m a sore loser”, Newton, who’d walked out of a press conference on Sunday rather than discuss his team’s defeat, explained without apology today.

Mark Bedenbender, who had a prime spot along the metal barrier near Union Station, said the event is not only a celebration but likely a farewell to Manning, too. “For me, I think that whoever is in his corner, they’re not telling him the right things”. We’ve got all these people that’s condemning and saying, ‘Ah man, I wouldn’t have done that, ‘ this and the third…I’m not here to win a popularity contest.

The quarterback went on to say, “Who are you to say that your way is right?“.

“If I offended somebody, that’s cool…but I know who I am”. I know what I’m capable of…I know where I’m going. “I’d much rather have a guy that hates to lose than a guy that accepts it. The guy that accepts it, you might as well just push him out of your locker room, because you don’t want him around”. “I was like, ‘No!’ Because you lose, and you can’t do that”.

“My favorite player is Von Miller, so it was really great to see him”, she said. And I am my own person. “I take pride in that”.

They kept Panthers’ star quarterback Cam Newton, the league’s Most Valuable Player, out of his comfort zone, limiting him to 18 for 41 in pass completions with 265 yards and an interception.

Denver Broncos cornerback Chris Harris carries the Vince Lombardi Trophy past well-wishers as players step off an airplane as the team returns to Colorado as the victor over the Carolina Panthers in Super Bowl 50, Monday, Feb. 8, 2016, in Denver.

“It happened”, Newton said. “He was one of the ones that noticed me”, Marshall tells Pro Football Talk. Well we’ve seen this person do that… how would he have handled it?’ The truth of the matter is, I’m not trying to be this person or that person.

While the Broncos and their fans were celebrating their big title, the quarterback of the losing Carolina Panthers, Cam Newton, did not apologize for acting like a “sore loser” after the game. “We’ll let Peyton enjoy this”, Broncos general manager John Elway said. I think everyone on our team is not happy, so why should we be all smiles after? Unfortunately, we just didn’t win the big one. “We win those tough, gritty games that make you fight until the very end, and that’s how we’ve done all year”.
