Jet Set Radio, Other Sega Classics Available for Free on Steam

Although Steam has not quite lived up to expectations when it comes to holiday deals, they still know how to occasionally sprinkle in some promos. The make War Not Love contest will conclude will be ended on February 20, and all owners of the winning game will receive free DLC for it.

The sale is mostly comprised of real-time strategy titles, but Sega is also giving away some classic titles well worth picking up. Virtual Rabbit Missions, and the Sega Classics collection. And that’s not all, it’s giving away free games as well. It’s looking to encourage people to buy some of these newer games at a discount. Warhammer 40k: Dawn of War 2, Total War Atitila, and Company of Heroes 2 are up for grabs for gamers who post promotional content on social media.

In just one day, if everything goes well, three more free games are going to be made available, and these are Streets of Rage II, Binary Domain, and Condemned: Criminal Origins. It’s a great tool to promote other, more recent titles, especially if the free games are not selling terribly well right now. This is one of the reasons for which Steam is offering three free Sega games that are a part of the classic video games inheritance.
