Johnson’s alleged victim told the court she kissed him on the second occasion and also described more serious sexual activity.
In her first police interview, the girl told officers that Johnson has sexually touched her. “She [the schoolgirl] didn’t text him in case Stacey looks”.
Over the last week, Bradford Crown Court has heard Johnson was befriended on Facebook by his alleged victim, an avid Sunderland fan, before he arranged to meet her to give her two signed football shirts.
In it, she gave an account of when the girl told her about the alleged sexual activity between her and Johnson.
The tearful teen told her father that “things happened” between the two of them when she confided in him on February 25.
“And she replied, “I have met up with Adam Johnson”.
“I told her that no matter what she thought I would say, I would always be with her. What is it?”
She said she met up with Johnson twice – on January 17 and 30 previous year.
“She was mad at the fact that he had messed her about”, the witness said.
He then convinced her to talk to her mum who, the jury has heard, ordered her to go to the police.
Johnson denies two counts of sexual activity with a child that allegedly took place in his black Range Rover behind a Chinese takeaway in County Durham on 30 December.
The friend described a photo she received of Johnson’s home, which was taken by the girl the same evening that he had stood her up.
The witness, who can not be identified because of her age, told the jury her friend showed her messages on her phone from the father of one.
The dad told officers he was “in disbelief” at what had allegedly gone on between his daughter and the Premier League footballer.
Footballer Adam Johnson would have to be “a bit of a paedophile” to go after a 15-year-old schoolgirl, a court has heard.
She also did not want to get Johnson in “more trouble” and she “didn’t think anyone would believe her because she’s 15”.
But the footballer, who has been capped 12 times for his country, is on trial after denying two further counts of sexual activity with a child.
The jury heard that that night boys in the girls’ year at school found out after the girls “let it out”, and the news was on a group chat on Facebook.
The court also heard that the girl had posted messages on a social media account of another Sunderland star, Connor Wickham, who passed them on to police.
“He told everyone he was innocent and he made me out to be a liar”.
She said it was sent with a caption of “something like “bae’s house” or something stupid like that”.
Johnson played for Leeds United on loan in 2006.
“I have given this statement recalling events as I remember them to be”.
The trial was adjourned until 10.30am on Friday.
