‘Neerja’ gets stronghold at box office

Sonam Kapoor’s latest release “Neerja” has been facing ban in Pakistan, Kapoor who is disappointed with this action still believes that Pakistanis love her and India-Pakistan are brother and sisters. She has been a fashion freak and keeps herself updated regularly and follows them. Moviegoers and critics alike have been bowled over by the film’s sensitive portrayal of the set of events and also for its lead actress Sonam Kapoor’s brilliant acting and turns out Malala Yousafzai shares those sentiments too.

After a decent career and at a crucial point of time, she has been approached with the script of the film which left her confused. “She was just like my mother”, added Sonam. She took her time to prepare herself right from the looks to the body language of a flight attendant.

Well, no doubt Sanjay Dutt must watch Neerja for Sonam Kapoor as she has given her best performance as an actor. A special set of the aircraft has been erected in Mumbai in which the major part of the film has been shot.

The film, which released last Friday, has been received well at the box office. And now, strong in its second week as well, the film is expected to easily cross the Rs 50 crore mark by the end of this weekend itself. In fact the film that released a week back has managed to collect Rs. 32.26 cr till date. Produced by Fox Star Studios and Bling Unplugged, the film, directed by Ram Madhvani narrates Neerja’s act of bravery.
