Liverpool’s loveable Kolo wants to win a trophy

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp used poor language to reflect on his side’s English League Cup final loss to Manchester City.

Younger brother and four-time African Footballer of the Year Yaya has enjoyed more success than his older brother, winning six League crowns and the Champions league with Barcelona, with Kolo’s tally of three domestic cups and four League winners’ medals to his name.

Yaya Toure could still remain at Manchester City despite the imminent arrival of Pep Guardiola, brother Kolo Toure has told the Mirror.

“We felt we were in the game throughout normal time and in extra time and going to penalties obviously it can go either way”.

“We are nine points behind the leaders (Leicester City) but we have a game in hand”.

The former Oasis frontman tipped the team to win on penalties, with Yaya Toure scoring the decisive spot-kick. “But, like I said, it is a final and the team who will want to win on the day, who will be prepared well and who will want to [give everything] for the game is going to win”.

“You have to learn to lose sometimes before you win”, he added.

“We have got a great fixture against Manchester United to look forward to which is massive, the fans will love that, we love that and we have just got to pick ourselves up and go again”. With the attacking players we have we know we can hurt teams. I was not expecting that score when we played against them there.

“There was no chance Willy would not play”, said Pellegrini who will be replaced by Pep Guardiola at the end of the season.
