John Kasich has an idea for how Republicans can beat Trump

Marco Rubio and Ohio Gov. John Kasich must realistically win their home states to keep the cache of delegates out of Trump’s hands.

Calley said Friday he favors Kasich over the three other remaining GOP White House candidates because of the OH governor’s focus on improving programs for the disabled, mentally ill and individuals with substance abuse problems.

“As insane as this year is – theres no one here who would say this isn’t nuts – can you think about anything cooler than a convention?”

“What’s most likely to happen is for us to probably end up with a brokered convention“, Gov. Kasich said. “But I have to win OH”, he told her.

The theories for why Kasich – sitting almost 300 delegates behind Trump after Super Tuesday and without a victory in a single state to call his own – is still in the race vary and verge on the conspiratorial when discussed with advisers in rival campaigns. He thinks the party is so divided there will be a brokered convention-a situation in which there’s no clear victor after the primaries, leading to political deal-making to come out with the party’s nominee.

You knew Donald Trump would say he won Thursday night’s GOP debate before it even started. It’s not – it’s not some – you have to know how to put everything together.

Trump leads the poll with 31%, Kasich holds second place with 26%, Ted Cruz is third with 21%, and Marco Rubio is in fourth with 13%. He said after winning his home state of OH on March 15, he would have to take 68 percent of the delegates thereafter. “In that category, OH is slowing down, Zeller said”.

He will spend a lot of time in the Wolverine state the next few days, hoping some MI bricks might help build his OH firewall.

Other income sources during those seven years came from public speaking, investments, writings, Fox News commentary, serving on boards and his salary as governor of OH after assuming the office in January 2011. Trump later said he disavowed Duke’s endorsement.

As of Friday, Rubio’s Conservative Solutions PAC had spent nearly $5.3 million on-air in his home state.

Michigan’s primary election is Tuesday, March 8.

But he also warned fellow Republicans that “You don’t beat Trump by personal attacks”.

The dust-up over tax returns was touched off last week by 2012 GOP nominee Mitt Romney calling on Trump to release his.
