Xbox One and Xbox 360 to Outcompete PS4

March 28 20:00 2016

Xbox One owners will have the privilege to get all four games for free, given that Games with Gold titles for Xbox 360 have been made backwards compatible.

Xbox Live was momentarily down Monday morning, affecting Social and Gaming Services, meaning that players were unable to chat with their friends or join games on XBL.

XBOX One gamers are now able to play even more games from the Xbox 360 on their new consoles.

The team in charge of the Xbox One is announcing that it is working to eliminate a problem with the Xbox One online gaming services that started affecting the infrastructure earlier in the day and is not allowing players to access matchmaking, friends finding, DVR action, leaderboards, editing for avatars, pictures and cloud storage.

GameStop is expecting sales of the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One to decline in the coming year, the game retailer said in a recent shareholder call.

The service alert was posted a few minutes ago, but we will update you when things change.

Xbox Live has not seen to a good year.

The news comes via a tweet from Major Nelson’s (Larry Hyrb) Twitter account.

Apart from the aforementioned issues, the rest of Xbox Live is fully functional. Such downtimes only annoy subscribers for they are unable to utilize a service they are already paying for. Players with Xbox Live Gold subscription can expect games such as the critically acclaimed “The Wolf Among Us“, the action-packed “Sunset Overdrive“, the always favorite “Dead Space“, and the last but certainly not the least on the list is the alien vs. human “Saint Row 4″. For now, they are looking up at Microsoft.
