England’s Lee Slattery is tied for the lead with five holes held over until Monday at a weather-affected Shenzhen International at Genzon Golf Club.

Levy made his move with three birdies in five holes to complete a six-under-par 66 in round three, and started his final 18 holes by going two under through 12.

On another breezy day, Nomura had three birdies and two bogeys to build a 54-hole total of 10-under 206.

Gallacher, who marked his return from hand surgery with an opening 70, added a 72 on a marathon day for the players to sit tied for 23rd in the clubhouse on two-under-par.

Eduardo De la Riva and Raphael Jacquelin (68) were also finished when play was suspended because of the threat of unsafe weather.

Joost Luiten and Brandon Stone are also one stroke back, the former has three holes left while the latter will play five more holes.

The players finally returned to the course nearly three hours later, and Levy matched Slattery’s birdie at nine while Lee produced a spirited response as he picked up shots at the 10th and 13th.

“I just played great today. In Malaysia I got a second place finish, so that was really good for me, and now I feel a bit more comfortable in the lead than I did in Malaysia”.

Ireland’s Paul Dunne has had a couple of solid rounds the Shenzhen International and this unbelievable par save today has helped his cause. “I was just trying to not make any mistakes and that will be the same tomorrow – I will just try to hit the fairways and hit the greens and just focus on keeping bogeys off the card”.
