Philadelphia Police have arrested a woman in connection with the live on-air attack of Telemundo 62 reporter Iris Delgado on Wednesday night outside City Hall.

This is the shocking moment a news reporter was attacked by a passing woman live on air.

Iris Delgado was filing a news report outside Philadelphia City Hall in Pennsylvania on Wednesday evening when the shocking “assault” took place.

“Excuse me, excuse me”, she says.

“Excuse me, excuse me”, the woman said before striking Delgado in the back of the head and then in the face.

“The complainant’s news crew then pushed the female away and followed the female to the 1600 block of John F. Kennedy Boulevard, where she was identified and arrested by 9th District Officers”.

The shot cuts away from Delgado and to Zayas who says, “Ay, Dios mio”. She also serves as an anchor, according to her online biography. After the assault, she reportedly experienced pain to the right side of her head but declined immediate treatment at that time. Delgado is said to be doing okay, fortunately. Wilson allegedly struck Delgado three times and shoved her to the ground.

Both Telemundo 62 and Delgado have been contacted for comment.
