The Voice’s Twitter account expressed their condolences in several posts early Saturday morning, saying “There are no words”.

The 22-year-old came third on season 6 of the United States singing competition back in 2014, and she was in Adam Levine’s team.

Selena Gomez’s stepfather has already raised $85,000 for Christina Grimmie’s family.

– The community will hold a candlelight vigil Monday night to remember township native Christina Grimmie, the 22-year-old singer shot to death Friday night in Orlando, Florida. “He did look a little bit nervous, but he was by himself and he was dressed as any other concertgoer”, she continued.

Grimmie’s last Facebook post a few hours before she was fatally shot showed a smiling upbeat young woman asking people to attend her concert.

He wrote on the fundraising page: ‘Words can not begin to describe the pain I am feeling.

Police have identified Grimmie’s alleged killer as 27-year-old Kevin James Loibl.

The singer was rushed to the Orlando Regional Medical Center.

Mina said it was “unknown what his plans were for after killing Christina, but very heroic actions by Marcus Grimmie to jump in definitely could have prevented future loss of life there”.

The police officer added: “Her brother is a hero for saving and stopping him from not hurting anyone else”.

USA Today has since reported that Orlando’s Plaza Live Theater, where the shooting happened, has suspended all events until further notice. The support has been insane and I do feel at peace.

“We believe he came here to commit this crime”.
