Senator Bernie Sanders is the most recent victim of the Bernie or Bust movement as he was booed on Monday while addressing the Democratic National Convention.

Wasserman Schultz has served atop the DNC since 2011, keeping the Florida seat in Congress she’s held since 2005 as well.

“I like everything from Debbie, honest, loyal person, she cares so much about her constituents”, said said Bina Fink, from Weston, Florida.

Clinton is within days of her long-held ambition to become the party’s official presidential nominee.

But that the investigation is just now starting hasn’t stopped the Democrats and Clinton campaign to attempt to deflect away from the contents of the leak to try to implicate Donald Trump as Putin’s stooge.

Sanders will play a crucial role in determining whether Clinton can calm the tensions.

The Florida congresswoman was booed and jeered during an appearance before the Florida delegation Monday morning.

The leak has exposed more of the rift between the Democratic establishment and the populist democratic socialist base that makes up Sanders’ support.

As thousands of delegates to the Democratic convention hit the City of Brotherly Love (and Sisterly Affection), it was clear that the Clinton campaign’s talk of unity, in the wake of announcing Tim Kaine as Clinton’s running mate, was more hope than reality. “Trump is a bully and a demagogue”. Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren, a progressive favorite, would deliver the convention keynote.

The roster of high-profile Democrats stands in marked contrast to last week’s convention.

But perhaps more important, Mrs. Obama is a popular figure in the Democratic Party and nationally, and as a Clinton surrogate, she could further strengthen the former secretary of State’s advantage with female voters.

Emails were apparently leaked from seven DNC officials’ accounts, though CNN was not able to independently verify their authenticity.

And the reaction to Sanders’ call for his supporters to vote for Hillary Clinton was fevered.

The FBI issued a statement Monday saying it is investigating the hack.

Cleveland Police Patrolmen’s Association President Steve Loomis said Monday that the trucks would be headed to Philadelphia as soon as they’re loaded.

A cybersecurity firm they employed found traces of at least two sophisticated hacking groups on their network – both of which have ties to the Russian government.

As members of the crowd and reporters rushed the stage, Mary Lou Ambrose, president of the Largo/Mid-Pinellas Democratic Club said to this reporter, “I want you to know that everybody in Pinellas County disagrees with Debbie Wasserman Schultz, and wants her out”.

It remains unclear if their prime-time speeches will convince disgruntled Sanders supporters to back Clinton in the general election. Clinton is certainly the least-liked candidate the Democrats have put forward in modern times.

Dawson opened for Sanders, who told supporters that they need to support presumptive Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton to defeat Donald Trump.
