The client is supported in all Blizzard games, and comes with everything that’s needed for basic game streaming.
You can stream any modern Blizzard game now featured on Battle.net including Overwatch, Hearthstone, StarCraft II, Heroes of the Storm, Diablo 3 and World of WarCraft.
If you’re a frequent Overwatch player, you now have a new option for live broadcasting your gameplay. Players, using the Battle.net app will notice a new icon in their top right corner, one which allows them to start streaming nearly immediately.
Blizzard and Facebook first announced their game streaming partnership in June, but Blizzard Streaming only went live late this week. All you’ll need to do is connect your Battle.net account to Facebook, and then you can stream games like Overwatch or Hearthstone directly to your Facebook page. There are a few settings to fiddle with, like stream title and webcam adjustments, but it’s a short process before players can be up and running live. Also, Facebook will now freely stream games on PC via the agreement for every single gamer online to watch. Quit the game and the stream will end-easy as that. Live streaming is available in several markets-Australia, New Zealand, North and South America, and Southeast Asia-but expect more markets to be added in the coming months.
As stated earlier the feature is only for PC at the moment, but Mac support is on the way.
