Taylor Swift and Tom Hiddleston break up ‘amicably’ after three months

A NY tabloid said Hiddleston, 35, had been in trouble with Swift, 26, because he asked her to attend the Emmy Awards with him on Sept 18 and she felt uncomfortable with his desire to make the relationship even more public.

Less than 24 hours after news broke that Hiddleswift is no more, Calvin Harris refuted the rumors that Swift had been publicity-obsessed during their relationship in a new interview with British GQ.

A fan quipped: “So, when Taylor Swift’s next song is, “I hate you, Low Key”, we know who she’s talking about”.

Tom had asked Taylor to the Emmy Awards later this month, but she began questioning whether he was with her for “the right reasons” and ultimately made a decision to call off the romance.

Contrary to Taylor Swift allegedly calling it off first, other rumors claim that it was Tom Hiddleston who left questioning their relationship.

Speaking to GQ magazine, he said: “It’s very hard when something I consider so personal plays out very publicly”. “She respected my feelings in that sense”.

The endless photos of the pair together – including one of Tom wearing an “I heart TS” t-shirt – did draw some scrutiny, however, with some even questioning whether it was a real relationship or a “showmance”. “I’m not good at being a celebrity”.

Goulding is also notably pals with Harris’ ex, Taylor Swift, and previously took credit for setting the two up.

“Tom wanted the relationship to be more public than she was comfortable with”.

When Calvin Harris and Taylor Swift announced their initially amicable-seeming breakup, it seemed as though the entertainment world might be spared a messy fallout.

“It clearly wasn’t right, so it ended, but all the stuff that happened afterwards …”

Although they were inseparable early on in their relationship, they hadn’t been snapped together since the end of July.
