So far, more than 260,000 people have signed a petition opposing the pipeline. Ben Affleck (Batman) kicks off the introductions as Ray Fisher (Cyborg), Gal Gadot (Wonder Woman), Jason Momoa (Aquaman), and Ezra Miller (The Flash) follow.

The superhero squad, which is now filming the upcoming DC Comics team up flick in London, joined together to show their support for the Standing Rock Sioux Tribe and others who are demonstrating against the $3.8 billion oil pipeline.

Ben Affleck and his “Justice League” co-stars have come together to protest the creation of a pipeline. In a recent video, the cast of Justice League teamed up to raise awareness for a charity called Rezpect Our Water that’s fighting to preserve Native American land.

“As a gang of Earth defenders, we want to send a big shoutout to the Oceti Sakowin and those who stand with them in opposing the Dakota Access Pipeline”, said Miller who also appeared in an another video with Fisher, which was posted on the Standing Rock Kids Twitter page in May.

Native American and environmental activists have been protesting the pipeline for months, demanding that the company Dakota Access halt its plans to build a crude oil pipeline through North Dakota, South Dakota, Iowa and IL. If that were to happen, over half the drinking water in South Dakota would be contaminated in some fashion.

The actor will play The Flash in “Justice League“, which is scheduled for a November 16, 2017, release.
