LeEco Le Pro 3 joins the league of only a few smartphones to have the all new Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 under the hood.
After taking a dig at Apple in their teaser of Le Pro 3, the Chinese company today launched the much-anticipated Le Pro 3 in China. Coming to performance, the brand new handset is powered by the latest Snapdragon 821 SoC. The front camera is an 8MP unit with an f/2.2 aperture and is capable of recording at 1080p. The Le Pro 3 is in fact just 7.5mm thin, which is very impressive considering the fact that it packs a very large 4070mAh capacity battery.
Other than the memory, there are no other differences in any of the variants of Le Pro 3.
The LeEco Le Pro 3 4GB RAM/32GB storage variant is priced at CNY 1,799 which is approximately Rs 18,000, while the 6GB RAM/64GB storage variant is priced at CNY 1,999 which is approximately Rs 20,000.
You get the usual assortment of sensors in the form of a fingerprint reader, accelerometer, gyroscope, compass, etc.
The LePro 3 also lacks the 3.5mm audio port but comes with USB Type-C earphones along with the device. If you were really excited about the 8GB variant, you will have to be disappointed as the company has unveiled two variants with 4 gigs and 6 gigs of RAM respectively.
The newly launched LeEco Le Pro 3 is equipped with the same design as Le 2 and Le Max 2.
Other specifications on the handset include a 4070 mAh battery and Quick Charge 3.0, the device also has front and rear cameras. The Le Pro 3 is the successor to Le 2 Pro, which was announced earlier this year in April. This is a dual SIM smartphone, and comes with Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box, with the company’s EUI 5.8 skin on top of it. 4 GB RAM variant is priced at CNY 2,499 and the 6 GB RAM variant is priced at CNY 2,999, although the main concern of ours is that there is no option to expand your storage in any smartphone. The 4GB RAM + 64GB storage Zhang Yimou edition is priced at CNY 2,499 (roughly Rs. 25,100), and the 6GB RAM + 128GB inbuilt storage version has been priced at CNY 2,999 (roughly Rs. 30,100). However, LeEco will bundle a 3.5mm to USB Type-C adapter to connect an earphone with the Le Pro 3.
