There are two more presidential debates to come between the candidates – on 9 October and 19 October – before the election on November 8.

Some Republicans were unhappy with Holt, suggesting that he was unfair because he asked tougher questions of Trump, and challenged his facts on issues like Trump’s support for the war in Iraq and a court case involving the “stop-and-frisk” method of policing.

With high negatives on both candidates, it will be interesting to see whether this will shift the dial at all. Trump planned rallies Wednesday in Iowa in Wisconsin in addition to a speech in IL.

The debate was framed by the Clinton campaign as a test of temperament and judgment. It didn’t make any differnce because Clinton went down the sexism route anyway.

Sia shared a video of Trump’s accusation that Clinton lacked the stamina to be president, followed by a compilation of photos showing Clinton over the years, on the campaign trail and working around the world. “I don’t think she did well at all”. “And, yes, I did”.

Trump also seemed to admit he hasn’t been paying federal income taxes, telling Clinton that not paying them on the few tax returns of his that have been made public, “makes me smart”. And I’ll tell you something else I prepared for.
