Bosa’s 2 sacks in debut provide positive in Chargers loss

On Sunday, on the road against the AFC West rival Oakland Raiders, San Diego’s collapse began a quarter earlier and resulted 34-31 loss.

Three of the Raiders four win have come by three points or less this season. “He’s really, I think, taken a step forward in terms of emotional control, the poise to be, kind of, surgeon-like and just be accurate with the ball and let his playmakers do their thing”.

For 58 minutes, the Chargers have been as good as anyone. The Chargers punted, then after a pass interference call in the end zone, fullback Jamize Olawale ran it in from a yard out for a 10-point lead.

Philip Rivers threw two interceptions – one was picked off by Sean Smith, and the other was the first career interception for Raiders first-round pick Karl Joseph. “In the defensive meeting room they’re saying, ‘Just stop them”. We’ve earned four wins in five games, which is a great feeling- it feels very nice, trust me. “We’ve just got to get it done”.

The Raiders also delivered a late defensive stand to beat Tennessee in Week 3 and rallied from 14 points down in their season-opening win over New Orleans. “I get so fired up that I have to just calm myself down”.

Carrie said that from his experiences playing Rivers, his advice to teammates on defending the Chargers’ quarterback would involve something that Rivers definitely isn’t known for – his legs. Final Score: “35-31. Oakland comes out on top with another late game comeback because why not right?” Ya know, winning at the end of the day is what we’re about, said Raiders Head Coach Jack Del Rio.

“… We need to continue to put together wins at home”. “Our fans are too awesome”. He added a second sack in the fourth quarter. “You’re not going to go through the year at whatever the percentage that 10-for-11 is”. Neither player is built to handle the full-time load, but these two players can combine for a lot production.

If not for a few breakdowns at key moments – as well as some bad luck – the Chargers could be sporting an entirely different record and this game could have an entirely different context.

With running back Latavius Murray out with a toe injury in Week 5, DeAndre Washington and Jalen Richard have a chance to become major factors for the Oakland Raiders.

BOSA WATCH: Chargers rookie DE Joey Bosa thinks he might be making his National Football League debut this week. Can the Bolts overcome all of these odds and get to 2-3?

“He was so committed to making sure he made so many plays for me that I would always look his way, that’s what he wants and so far he’s done that”.

Division games are always hard. They also play the Kansas City Chiefs the following week, and the Broncos are looming at the start of November.

“I’ve been looking forward to this for a long time“.

The Raiders were that close to four or five passing TDs, and again, it wasn’t like those plays won’t be there in nearly every game they play this season, and for many more seasons.
