Sanders Campaigns for Clinton in Scranton

Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders was back in New Hampshire today. A few audience members displayed signs of their discontent with Sanders’ loss during the presidential primary, hanging a banner reading “election fraud” from the upper balcony and lifting notebooks reading “the DNC robbed us”. The memo even attempted to accuse Sanders of coordinating – or at least encouraging – the Bernie Bros.

Hundreds gathered at the Cross Insurance Center Friday to hear Bernie Sanders speak.

Some Trump supporters stationed themselves right across the street from where Sanders spoke in Scranton.

“Bernie has my heart, and Hillary has my vote”, Schmidt said. I’d say they need his help more than he needs anything from them, so if they try to control his messaging too tightly they might run the risk of him bolting – which becomes a much bigger story than an isolate quote he gives to one newspaper reporter on one stop. At the debate, Trump said he was “so surprised” to see Sen.

“The only way we do that is when millions of people get involved in the political process”, said Senator Sanders.

Trump added that he would instruct a special prosecutor to take a probe into Clinton’s leaked mails it he won the presidential race.

Democrat T.J. Donovan, the Chittenden County prosecutor running for attorney general against Republican lawyer Deborah Buckham, said he agrees with Sanders’ stances on criminal justice reform. “That is an oligopoly”.

America, according to CNN is no place where woman should be spoken about in this fashion.

“We didn’t think that Republican nominee Donald Trump could sink any lower”, McGinty said, referencing the video that the Washington Post released of Donald Trump in which he said, among other things, that he could non-consensually grope women because of his fame and status. “I think you’ve got a person who grew up very, very wealthy who thinks that he is entitled to do anything that he wants”.

The criminal justice system was another hot topic at the rally.

“How many people here are dealing with student debt?” he asked the crowd.

Several liberal activists acknowledged discomfort Saturday upon seeing some contents of speeches they had long sought as evidence of Clinton’s ties to Wall Street. Sanders also touched on the problem of unnecessary police brutality.

Invitees of these cocktail parties, where the reporters were briefed on how to present the Clinton campaign to the population in the most favorable light, apparently included Diane Sawyer (ABC), George Stephanopolous (ABC), Rachel Maddow (MSNBC) and Gail Collins ( New York Times ), among many others.
