Now that Chip Kelly is gone, DeSean Jackson less bitter

Wentz credits his teammates for his efficiency against the blitz.

After starting the year 0-2 the Redskins are rolling, picking up three consecutive wins to get to 3-2 on the year and 3-2 at the betting window.

The Redskins won’t change a ton offensively even if star tight end Jordan Reed (concussion) can’t go.

Take the Redskins and the points. Philadelphia may not have been expected to compete for a playoff spot this season, but they have proven that they are more than capable. Even if his best years are behind him, he could still help the team in the long haul. During the team’s bye week two weeks ago, he went hunting as his way to escape the pressures of the NFL.

Kerrigan has 2.5 sacks and is dealing with groin and elbow injuries. He has yet to record one sack in 2016.

It’s uncertain what DeSean we’ll get on Sunday, but if he’s really interested in playing for the Eagles again, he’d do better to keep to his most recent numbers.

Pederson indicated the Eagles are unlikely to alter their plan because Vaitai is in the lineup.

“There are a lot of games left, I’m just focusing on helping us win, ” Jackson said during his conference call. “I got exhausted of hearing about it”. That would be a major loss. That includes wide receiver DeSean Jackson, still a deep threat despite turning 30 later this season, and who admittedly still gets up for games against his former team.

This matchup of wits could mark the difference between a big play in the passing game for the Eagles or a key turnover for the Redskins. Jackson is friendly with Eagles coach Doug Pederson, an assistant with Philadelphia during Jackson’s years there.
