Donald Trump tries to shift spotlight from allegations to voter fraud

MADISON (WKOW) – Donald Trump is making two campaign stops in Wisconsin next Monday, October 17, visiting the Green Bay and Milwaukee areas. Walker said Tuesday that Ryan doesn’t need to be defended.

“Our laws and the way we run the elections, it’ll be easy to vote but hard to cheat”, Walker said, referring to the state’s voter ID law, which requires photo identification at the polls.

On Monday, in a bid to improve his public image while simultaneously pandering to African-American voters, the Republican candidate pointed at a young black girl during his rally in Green Bay, Wisconsin, and invited her up on the stage.

It’s Trump’s second canceled event in Wisconsin in the past week.

Trump offered no evidence for the claim, the latest addition to his efforts to raise doubts about the legitimacy of the November election.

Since then, Trump’s support among likely votes has fallen in Wisconsin.

After criticizing Trump’s remarks in the Access Hollywood tapes – hardly unique among Republicans – Ryan has kept a low profile in the presidential race, eschewing comment except to note that his endorsement still stands. “You can do anything”, he said.
