Manchester City star Nolito fires Barcelona warning ahead of Champions League clash

Goalkeeper Claudio Bravo says Manchester City will adapt to Pep Guardiola’s style of play if given the time.

At the Emirates, Theo Walcott scored twice in seven first-half minutes as Arsenal defeated Swansea for a sixth straight win in all competitions. “We know we are hard to beat”, he said.

Stekelenburg backed up his penalty saves by producing a brilliant save to tip De Bruyne’s shot around the post in the last minutes, leading Everton manager Ronald Koeman to say: “Maybe the goalkeeper played his best game ever”. “One situation. Sometimes football is handsome for that reason and sometimes you play bad and win games”.

De Bruyne and Aguero both offered up poor penalties either side of halftime so that, eventually, only a Nolito header for City answered Romelu Lukaku’s smash and grab goal for Everton.

“No. I return with peace of mind and the desire to play a good game”. The former Independiente man hopes to get his scoring touch back midweek, but he knows the key will be City’s defense.

“Will Phil Jagielka buy me dinner after that?”

“And so as soon as he came here and asked if I wanted to come, there was no question about it”.

“We need to improve on that and keep going”.

The heroic Stekelenburg, who made other outstanding saves apart from the penalty stops, did everything to ensure they were denied.

“If Barcelona get four chances they will score three times I think“.

“I said yesterday to the rest of the staff that we need to be prepared for three defenders from Pep [Guardiola]”, he added, referring to City’s formation changes.
